September in Vegas: From Bon-Bons to Baklava
It’s still too hot for sweaters, but September in Las Vegas is stacked with concerts, comedy, festivals, and football that’ll keep you busy enough to forget your flip-flops are melting into the sidewalk.
Here’s the good stuff:
Big stage energy: iHeartRadio Music Festival (Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll), plus Bruno Mars, Ricky Martin, The Eagles at Sphere, Motley Crue, and even Ringo Starr (yes, that Beatle)
Laugh until you cry: Jerry Seinfeld, David Spade & Nikki Glaser, and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias...basically every type of funny in one month
Sports central: UNLV Rebels kick off against UCLA, while the Raiders tackle the Chargers and Bears at Allegiant
Family bribes: Take the kids to The Wizard of Oz Experience at the Sphere or Bugs Bunny at The Smith Center and call it “culture”
Eat your way through it: San Gennaro Feast (cannoli required) and Greek Fest (baklava mandatory, dancing optional after ouzo)
Move over, funnel cakes cuz Las Vegas just leveled up its sugar game with Puffy Cotton Candy at Town Square, where your snack is also your new Instagram model.
Sugar-coated scoop:
Spin your own edible art: pick from unicorns, bears, dogs, or whatever poofy sugar fantasy you’re into
Eight flavors to choose from, so yes, “plain pink” is officially basic now
Full-on sugar characters run about $30, while smaller clouds start at $9 (because your dentist also needs a vacation fund)
Another Puffy's is opening in Miracle Mile Shops in late 2025
A brand-new venue is opening at the Linq Promenade on Oct. 25, and it’s not your average “pull a rabbit out of a hat” situation. The Magicians Room combines an arcade of crane games with a hidden two-level magic theater packed with tricks, illusions, and a little Vegas mischief.
The venue includes a crane-only arcade, because why not relive your childhood while losing quarters?
Upstairs, a 225-seat hidden theater will host magicians like Farrell Dillon, The Conjurors, David Goldrake, and the very not-kid-friendly “Late Night Magic.”
Floating furniture hovers above guests at the 30-seat Levit8 Lounge, so your cocktails might not be the only thing levitating.
Expect holograms, augmented reality, and immersive effects to make you question what’s real and what’s Vegas.
